FALLING LEAF STREET

 

I found this photograph particularly unique and a creative aspect of the village that isn't ever really seen in Hong Kong. Looking in as an outsider you see the streets in the village as clustered and disorganised and they are just that. But when you look closely, you'll notice that they actually have their own streets to find their way around with creative names such as Falling Leaf Street. The way they portray the street names are also so very unique in their own way and are very different to our upright pole signs. I thought that this aspect of the village clearly showed the village community that existed within the Hong Kong community.
