POKFULAM VILLAGE
I thought that this photography was a vital piece to my entire photo series because it shows the connection that this photographic series has to Hong Kong and the outside world. Villages are typically not thought of as to be modernized and yet Pokfulam village actually has their own website and Facebook page which shows how socially connected and updated they are with the rest of the world. They also keep their cultural heritage by sticking photos of their community around the village. The slideshow on the right shows the other images that have been posted around the village for tourists and others to view. This photo may not have been the most visually appealing of most but it captures the essence of this village and shows their community connection to a certain extent.
